Verses on Friday- Christmas in July

Happy Friday to you!  Can't believe it's Friday again.  Does the summer just seem to be slipping by to you?  Sure does to me.  The stores are putting out all the "Back to School" supplies and clothes.  Wow!  It's just seems like the kids got out of school and now were getting ready for them to start again!

Which leads me to my Verses on Friday project for today.  If the stores are putting out "Back to School" items, then you know what's next- Christmas!  Yes, I groan every year when I see Christmas items in stores in July.  Really, I don't want to think about Christmas shopping this early.  (I'm a last minute shopper ;)  But I definitely start making my Christmas cards early!  I usually start planning or shopping for my supplies in July/August.  That way they don't get rushed or hurried in the hustle and bustle of all the Holiday "to do lists".

So, I thought I would share with you a Holiday card that I made several months ago, but never have posted it before!

On this card, I used Verses Rubber Stamp MC0634F "Wishing You Always".  I've used this stamp before on a "New Home" card, but I thought it also works really well on a Holiday card.

To make the card, I used the Cricut cartridge "Christmas".  I cut the house three times on three different pieces of cardstock and patterned paper, then paper pieced the house together.  I also used some Smooch ink to give some highlight and shimmer on the house.  You definitely cannot tell from the picture, but this card has a lot of sparkle and shine to it!

Hey, did you see my post from last week?  I am giving away a Verses Rubber Stamp on my blog!  Check out this post and get the details!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!
Heather
