Verses on Friday

Welcome back to another "Verses on Friday" post!  So happy that you stopped by to see me today!  The sun has been shining here for the past two days and that makes me such a "happy camper"!   I've been soaking up as much of it as I can.

And speaking of happy-  my amazing Verses Rubber Stamp DT Sister, Tammy Hershberger, is posting her "Verses on Friday" post, as well, today.  If you've stopped over from her blog-  Thank You!  And if not, make sure you hop over to her blog and show her some love.  She always has something awesome to share with us!

I don't know about you, but I'm always in need of Birthday cards.  If it's not cards for our family, then it never fails that I have someone come home and say, "I need a Birthday card tomorrow for ........".  Sound familiar?  So, I love to have extra Birthday cards just waiting for that scenario.

I had so much fun making this card!  I used Verses Rubber Stamp BB0437-F "Happy Birthday/Gift".  And the "cutie" with the gift is from Hero Arts- G5331 "Girl with Gift" (she reminds me of an auburn haired "cutie" in my life!)  I also used DP from My Minds Eye- "Love Me Do" line.  And using my Martha Stewart Score Board instructions, I made a #1 envelope to tuck my Verses stamp in.  Oh, and the  flower on the girl's headband is one of those fabulous "Sculptured Flowers" by Prima.  I'm sooo loving those flowers!

What do you think?  I'd love to hear your comments!  Have a great week and look forward to you stopping back next Friday.

Heather

  1. Oh Heather, this is TOO cute! LOVE the note coming out of the envelope... that is SO clever! The paper piecing on her dress and present is awesome too, and I LOVE the flower in her hair! It's the perfect touch!

    Enjoy that Spring sunshine, sister!
