Can you believe it's the end of January? And, of course, that means it's time to get those Valentine's Cards made! So today's project is using the Verses stamp, RR1015-C "Hugs & Kisses". I've used this stamp for quite a few Valentine's projects. I'll try to post some of my other "Hugs & Kisses" ideas later.
I was going for a romantic, vintage style card. As I do so often, I reached for my K&Company paper. This DP is Terri Conrad "Lovely". This 12X12 pad has gotten a lot of use! The beautiful hearts are part of the DP. I just cut them out and inked them with some StazOn "Blazing Red".
There are several other challenges going on that this card will work for. Create with Bubbe's current challenge is to make a card with ribbon. I'm going to enter this in her challenge. Make sure you stop by her blog!
And the weekly challenge for Stampin' Sisters in Christ is to make a "vintage"style card/project. So, I'm going to link this there as well.
So, have you started your Valentine's projects and/or cards yet? Make sure to take a look at the Verses Rubber Stamps catalog. They have lots of wonderful sentiments just right for making those cards!
Have a great weekend and thanks for looking!
