Verses on Friday

Happy Friday, everyone! and welcome back to Verses on Friday.  Already, I'm having such fun bringing a new Verses Rubber Stamps project to you each Friday.  I have to say, though, can you believe it's Friday already?  Wow, the week went very fast for me.  Maybe all the snow we have here has something to do with it!

Another reason I'm having such fun with my Verses on Friday projects is the my fellow Verses Design Team Friend, Tammy  Hershberger, is joining me and will also be posting Verses projects every Friday.  I can't wait to see what Tammy has to show us each week.  Her projects are always amazing!!  She inspires me so much!  So, if you haven't already make sure you jump over to her blog and see what she has to inspire us with today!

Without further ado!, here is my project for this week:

This stamp is Verses- MC0634-F Wishing you always.  I reach for this stamp a lot.  I've used it for Christmas cards, "New Home" cards and many others.

All the Patterned Paper is from K&Company's Wild Saffron line.  I used Memories black ink to stamp everything and LOTS of yummy Walnut Stain Distress Ink (I'm a little obsessed with Walnut Stain ink!  LOL)  The furniture stamps are from Darcie's  Home Decor set.   I stamped them on Wild Saffron paper as well.  Not sure you can tell from the picture, but I pop-dotted the chair to give it a little extra dimension.  Also, only the sentiment part of the card lifts up, so the furniture is both on the inside and outside of the card!

Thanks for stopping by again on Friday.  I hope you enjoyed my card today.  I love comments- why not leave me one and let me know what you think?

Oh, and don't forget to go see what awesomeness Tammy has for us today!

  1. Heather, this is WONDERFUL! What a great card this would be for a house-warming! The chair and table with lamp are SO perfect with that sentiment, and the papers you used! The Walnut Stain distressing gives it all a vintage, homey feel! GREAT work! I'm so happy to be joining you each week for Verses on Friday!
